WHAT IS METADRI?

WHAT IS RETICULATED FOAM?

Reticulated foam is a type of “open cell” foam which is processed through a special method called reticulation. Because of reticulated foam’s “open cell” structure, water and air can easily and quickly pass through the foam, instead of sitting within the cells, meaning the foam is able to dry much more quickly than a standard foam cushion. Reticulated foam is the only foam used for METADRI.

WHERE DO YOU SOURCE THE FOAM FOR METADRI?

Rather than source its foam from overseas, adding questions about quality, shipping costs, and a reliable supply chain, METADRI manufactures its own foam in its nearshore facility located in Matamoros, MX. Because of this, METADRI is able to reduce overall cost while bringing a higher quality product to market faster.

IS METADRI WATER RESISTANT?

Yes! METADRI was designed to help repel water and dry much quicker than the average cushion on the market today – in fact, METADRI dries, on average, 33% faster and in some cases up to 50% faster.

METADRI is CERTI-PUR US certified so you can rest easy that it’s not only free of any harmful materials to keep your family and friends safe, but it also keeps harmful PFAS chemicals out of our environment.

HOW DO YOU CLEAN METADRI?

METADRI allows dust and partial irritants to pass through its cellular structure so no need to worry about harmful irritants being trapped in your cushion. Simply remove the cushion from its cover and soak/rinse with a hose. Allow the cushion to dry outside, or in a well-ventilated area before returning to the casing. SUNBRELLA fabrics are easy to clean by blotting spills with a clean, dry cloth and use mild soap and warm water to remove spills or stains. For the very toughest messes, SUNBRELLA fabrics are safe to clean with a diluted bleach solution.
